YouTube Upload Tool: Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

This page covers a private, internal software tool (the "Tool") operated by MYZORIA DIGITAL VENTURES LLC ("we", "us"). The Tool uses Google's YouTube Data API to upload and manage videos on YouTube channels that we own and operate.

The Tool is not a product, not a service offered to the public, and not available for anyone else to sign in to. It has exactly one user: the owner of the channels. This page exists because Google requires a published privacy policy and terms of service for any application that requests access to a Google account, including a private one.

1. What Google data the Tool accesses

When the owner signs in with their own Google account, the Tool requests two YouTube permissions:

  • Upload videos to YouTube (youtube.upload): to send a finished video file to one of our own channels.
  • Manage your YouTube account (youtube.force-ssl): to set the title, description, tags, thumbnail, language, scheduled publication time and the "altered or synthetic content" disclosure on those same videos.

The Tool reads the name and ID of the channel it was authorised for, so it can confirm it is uploading to the correct channel before sending a file. It does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, location, or any other Google service.

2. How that data is used

Only to publish and configure our own videos on our own channels. That is the entire purpose. The Tool does not read other people's data, does not act on any account other than ours, and is never used on behalf of a third party.

3. How that data is stored

Authorisation is stored as a Google refresh token in a file on the owner's own computer. It is never uploaded to a server, never placed in a database, and never transmitted anywhere except directly to Google's own API endpoints over HTTPS. Video files, titles and descriptions are produced locally and sent only to YouTube.

4. How that data is shared

It is not. We do not sell, rent, trade or disclose Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, for profiling, or to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No third party, human or automated, receives it. The only parties involved are the owner's computer and Google.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How long it is kept, and how to remove it

The stored authorisation is kept only while the Tool is in use, and is deleted whenever access is revoked or the file is removed. The owner can revoke the Tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends the Tool's ability to reach the account.

6. Visitors to this page

This page collects nothing. There is no form, no login, no account and no tracking placed here by the Tool. General analytics and cookies belonging to the wider usedalmont.com store are covered by that store's own privacy policy and are unrelated to the Tool.

7. Children

The Tool is not directed at children and is not used by anyone under 13.

8. Terms of Service

The Tool is private and is not offered for use by anyone else, so there is no licence granted to any third party and no account for anyone to open. For completeness, the terms governing it are these:

  • The Tool is provided for the exclusive internal use of MYZORIA DIGITAL VENTURES LLC and is used only on YouTube channels we own.
  • The Tool is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. We accept no liability arising from its use.
  • Use of the Tool is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
  • We may change or discontinue the Tool at any time, without notice.
  • These terms are governed by the laws applicable to MYZORIA DIGITAL VENTURES LLC.

9. Changes to this page

If the Tool's access to Google data changes, this page is updated and the date at the top is changed with it.
